This morning I woke up with pink eye. This is nothing new. Some how I always manage to get it at least once every few months. I guess that's what can happen when working with kiddos all the time, but now I wonder if there is something wrong with my eye. After each encounter with the lovely stuff, I always throw out my eye make-up and the contacts I was wearing. I'm not sure why I get it so much. Its really getting annoying. On top of that, my throat has been sore for over a week now. I thought it was because of allergies, then I thought it was Strep, and now I have another theory. I notice it getting more irritated when I eat or drink citrus/acidic things. And boy have I been doing that. I've been drinking OJ and lemonade like its going out of style. I've been eating lots of pineapple and oranges, too. So, I'm giving that all a break to see if it helps. If not, I'm going to the doctor. I'm not so much worried about me, but I don't want anything to have a harmful affect (or effect? I still get confused) on my nugget. And, it probably won't, but you never know.
So last night Carl and I went to dinner and then headed to Best Buy to get photo paper. I decided to let him handle that and I went to TJ Maxx. I looked at dresses and house wares and then went straight to the baby section. I don't know why I look. I can't really buy anything because we don't know what we are having. It doesn't stop me though. Apparently I was in there for a while because Carl came in to look for me. He got caught up in looking at baby things too and we ended up walking out with these...
I love Paul Frank and these are amazing! We spotted them at the same time and Carl actually wanted to get them. Of course I'm always down for buying cute baby things. We decided that even if we have a girl, these will still get used. I planned on telling you about my doctor's appointment, but I will save that for tomorrow. Oh, one more thing...
This was the sign in front of a local catering company. Every time we passed, we always chuckled and one day Carl decided to take a picture. They've since changed it, and its not nearly as funny now.
